Space Hulk: Deathwing is on the cusp of its release, and to get you excited for it, Focus Home Interactive has released a sizable 17-minute chunk of gameplay from the campaign. The trailer showcases how the player can command their squadmates, as well as the incredible amount of detail that has been poured into the game's environments. The campaign, which will clock in at about 15 hours, was written in collaboration with Black Library author and Dark Angels specialist, Gav Thorpe, so Warhammer 40,000 fans should be very excited.
In the campaign, players will assume the role of a Librarian of the Dark Angels' 1st Company, the Deathwing. Your character is a Psyker, which means that he's got powerful psychic abilities at his disposal. Here's a look at the abilities (which you can see in action in the trailer above):
When you aren't using your abilities, the crux of your offensive prowess will come from your Storm Bolter gun (which can zoom for sniper-like precision) and your Force Sword for blocking and melee damage.
Space Hulk: Deathwing launches on PC on December 9 and will head to PS4 and Xbox One in early 2017.
