Watch the Assassin’s Creed: Rogue launch trailer before tomorrow’s release

With tomorrow's launch of Assassin's Creed: Rogue on Xbox 360 and PS3, Ubisoft today released the game's launch trailer.

In typical fashion, the trailer sets the tone for the eagerly awaited game — one in which you play as Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assassin who turns his back on the Brotherhood to join the Templar cause and hunt the Assassins who wronged him.

Assassin's Creed: Rogue is set in the middle of the 18th century during the Seven Years War. According to game director Martin Capel, this will complete the North American saga started with Assassin's Creed 3 and Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. Rogue will not only borrow the naval components from the previous Assassin's Creed games, but enhance them as well. Players will be given new weapons to use on both land and sea in pursuit of taking down the Assassins, including a new ship called the Morrigan. Of course, you'll find most of this out for your own when the game releases tomorrow.

Tomorrow also marks the release of Assassin's Creed: Unity for Xbox One and PS4.
