Watch the explosive launch trailer for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, now available

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, new standalone DLC that acts as a prequel to 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order, is officially out today for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Serving as a two-part adventure, The Old Blood takes you back to an alternate version of 1946 with the Nazis on the brink of winning World War II. Once again, you'll play as B.J. Blazkowicz as he travels deep within Bavaria. Part one of The Old Blood – "Rudi Jäger and the Den of Wolves" – pits BJ Blazkowicz against a maniacal prison warden as he breaks into Castle Wolfenstein in an attempt to steal the coordinates to General Deathshead’s compound. Part two – "The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schnabbs – the search continues, leading Blazkowicz to the city of Wulfburg where an obsessed Nazi archaeologist is exhuming mysterious artifacts that threaten to unleash a dark and ancient power.

To celebrate the DLC's release, a launch trailer has been released showing off all the Nazi-slaying explosiveness that awaits you in Bavaria.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is available digitally for $19.99.
