About two months ago, the cigar smoking man from hell was revealed for Injustice 2, Hellboy, and now the Hellboy gameplay trailer has been released. And he is just as ironic as ever.
Some two months ago, NetherRealm Studios revealed their Fighter Pack 2 DLC, and two of the three fighters joining Injustice 2 have already gotten their gameplay trailers, Black Manta and Raiden, so now its time for Hellboy to get his.
As a member of the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense who has defended the world from demons, fiends, witches, and various Lovecraftian gods, it's anyone's guess as to what side Hellboy will stand on in the official Injustice lore. Despite that, his fighting moves are pretty great and he can literally drag people down to hell with him, a move you can check out for yourself in the trailer below.
Hellboy, and the rest of the guys in the Fighter Pack 2, will be joining the fight on November 14th on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. A PC version on Injustice 2 is currently in development and scheduled for release "later this year", which should be pretty soon considering November will soon be upon us.
