Watch the Launch maps of Battlefield 5 in new Trailer

Plus the Official System Requirements for PC

Dice and EA have released a brand-new, action-packed trailer showcasing all multiplayer maps for Battlefield 5, available at launch. The trailer is finally looking like what fans wanted from the return of the franchise to the World War II setting. Check out the trailer!

To say Battlefield is a juggernaut among multiplayer shooters would be an underestimation. Each entry into the series sells in the millions with likewise thousands upon thousands of enthusiastic players battling it out on expansive maps. Either on foot, land, sea or air.

But Fall 2018 is not like every year, with several high-profile game releases among usual heavy-hitters. Even this year’s Call of Duty, Black Ops 4 managed to not only conquer the sales charts, but also managed to breathe a needed new passion into the series with it’s inclusion of Blackout.

Of course, the other elephant in the room is Red Dead Redemption 2. Rockstar’s long-awaited sequel to arguably the best Wild West game of all time – up until now that is. These two games, together with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, really led to an unprecedented packed Fall release. EA was the one who took a step back and decided to steer clear by delaying Battlefield 5 a month, to November 20. A wise decision as both Black Ops 4 and RDR 2 have both enjoyed record sales.

Now, it’s Battlefield 5’s time to make good use of a lighter November and it looks like the tables are finally turning to its favor. Since its reveal, Battlefield 5 received a lot of negative feedback by either the style or the absence of features planned at launch. Today’s new trailer showing off all multiplayer maps at launch is shaping up to be the best piece of news fans have gotten.

Finally, the Like-Dislike ratio on a Battlefield 5 video is severely tipped towards approval. Indeed, all 8 maps shown, promise a great variety in scenery, atmosphere and gameplay. Dense city combat is represented alike sprawling marsh and forest maps. Snowy Scandinavian regions are offered together with vast deserts of North Africa. Either way, Dice is keeping their promise of highlighting lesser-known battles of World War II in Battlefield 5.
