Little King's Story is back, and this time it's on the PlayStation Vita.
The game for Vita features a new storyline and online capabilities, along with enhanced graphics and optimization for the handheld — such as touch-screen controls that let players scout over a dozen citizens simultaneously.
In New Little King's Story, you play as King Corobo, who sets out to reclaim his domain from the Devil King, "The Nightmare." Players travel to seven different kingdoms and save princesses from their captors while leading the Royal Guard in battle.
This version allows players to "engage more deeply with their fellow characters," Takanori Murayama, the assistant producer at Konami, wrote on the PlayStation Blog. Fighting as a group helps gain experience points, and players can dress their troops with different accessories. You can also banish characters you don't like and invite new ones to join you.
In battle, princess support you with magical powers. One can even turn monsters into allies.
Look for the game next Tuesday, October 2. Check out the launch trailer below.
