As we already know, Titanfall 2 is going to be getting a brand new mode called Live Fire via Respawn's promised free post-launch DLC at some point this month. Today, the company released the first real look at the mode via an action-packed trailer (embedded above) showcasing a mode that takes Titans entirely out of the equation.
The idea behind live-fire is to condense everything down to a relatively small space to force furious and fast-paced encounters, giving players little time to react. As it is a specially designed mode, Live Fire will bring two all-new maps to the game called Stacks and Meadow that will feature all of the design choices that Respawn has poured into the mode.
Also coming with the next update will be a new Coliseum map called Columns, which you can see at the end of the trailer. There is also a new pilot execution animation as well as new commander introductions for each faction. There's no exact release date yet, but it is scheduled to arrive this month.
