[Watch] Unique letter-driven platformer Typoman: Revised releases on Xbox One

It helps to know how to spell.

Typoman is a stylish little indie platformer that began as a Wii U exclusive indie title back in 2015 that eventually got an upgraded port on PC in August 2016 in the form of Typoman: Revised. Now the "Revised" version of the game has made its way to Xbox One today and celebrated with the release of an all-new trailer (embedded above).

The premise of the game is what makes it stand out. Your character and much of the world around you consist of letters, and the player can rearrange certain words in the environment to make new words, which in turn activate a certain event for progression. The best example of this is the part of the video where the character brings the letters "O" and "N" together to form the word "On" which activates a platform.

As it stands now, Typoman: Revised has a positive user rating of 91% on Steam and early reviews of the Xbox One version are favorable as well. If you're interested in checking out Typoman: Revised you can head over to the game's Xbox One store page here.
