If Nioh ends up as a bust, at least no one will be able to say that Team Ninja was lying about what kind of game they were delivering. The game will officially be getting a third timed demo that will be live this weekend just two weeks before the game officially launches. The demo is aptly named the "Last Chance Trial" and will start on Saturday, January 21st and end the next day on January 22nd. You can download the trial from the PSN Store now so that you can preload and be ready to play the moment it becomes available.
If you manage to beat the trial, players will be able to unlock several extra rewards that can be used in the full game. Beating the trial's Main Mission will unlock the Ogress Headgear, and if you complete the Twilight Mission, you will have another opportunity to snag the Mark of the Conqueror and Mark of the Strong, which were unlockables from the Alpha and Beta demos.
Nioh went gold earlier this week, so it is officially ready to go for its February 7th release date.
