[Watch] Xbox One, PS4 Resident Evil 4 re-release gameplay compared to GameCube version

Popular tech analysis YouTube channel, Digital Foundry, has returned once again to show us how the PS4 and Xbox One re-release of Capcom's survival horror masterpiece Resident Evil 4 compares to the original GameCube release in 2005. The original release of the game was already pretty stunning for its time, but thanks to the technology of the Xbox One and PS4 the game gets a slight performance boost while taking some shortcuts that hurt the game slightly in order to give it a better overall performance.

One example shown in the video is that the game runs at a locked 60 FPS, but when you zoom in on the scope of the sniper rifle the game changes to 30 FPS and then back to 60 when you zoom out. It is quite a jarring and sudden change when constantly zooming in and out. The game also features some minor bugs such as jittery animations. You can view the full analysis below which compares the PC, PS4, Xbox One, Wii, PS2, and GameCube versions to see how the game has changed from console to console.
