[Watch] YouTuber Ben Heck Makes a Portable Xbox One S

Ben Heck, a YouTuber that hacks, builds and talks about different technologies on his channel, has done something pretty amazing.  He built a portable Xbox One S!

On his channel, Ben typically explains what he's doing and then shows it, and this time it's taking an Xbox One S and putting it into a portable laptop fixture. While that seems relatively easy, without Xbox's proprietary assembly, it can prove quite difficult, but that doesn't stop him from figuring it out and making it work.

While he didn't actually show a game running on it, the device does have all the components needed to run a game. In fact, he uses a controller to navigate menus to start a Blu-Ray movie. Why he didn't put a game in is silly, but what this did prove is that the wireless internet capabilities are also functional, as he needed to install the capability to play Blu-Rays (which side note: What? How is that not just standard?).

This device seems like the PS1 Portable we had in the golden days with the screen attached right on to the console, but of course much more powerful. Would you play an Xbox One S on the go?
