Way of the Dogg now available on XBLA

Way of the Dogg — a rhythm-action game featuring Snoop Dogg's (aka Snoop Lion) greatest hits — is now available on XBLA for the Xbox 360. The game draws inspiration from Snoop's love of '70s Kung Fu movies.

“I’ve always dug old school Kung Fu movies,” said Snoop Dogg. “Growing up in the hood, me and the homies used to hit the Palace Theater in Long Beach to watch the double feature Kung Fu flicks and come out of the theater play fighting each other, making those old school sound effects. I wanted Way of the Dogg to pay tribute to that feeling and bring that same excitement, fused with my music, to the game.”

Way of the Dogg story follows "America Jones," the toughest street fighter in town. He loves two things: fighting and his love, Sierra. When Sierra is taken from him, America Jones must step up his fighting and learn the "Way of the Dogg" from Master Snoop. The story mode has players fight the toughest fighters in brutal one-on-one combat. The game also has stylized temple fight challenges (taught by Snoop) and two-player multiplayer modes.

Way of the Dogg is available for the price of 800 MSP and will soon be coming to PSN and mobile platforms.
