Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the Injustice 2 Championship Series Presented by PlayStation 4. This is a global esports program for the upcoming Injustice 2.
The program offers amateur and pro players throughout North America, Europe, and Latin America placement to compete in different programs for a portion of the total prize pool of $600,000. The winners from each program will qualify for the grand finals scheduled for Fall 2017.

Injustice Pro Series
On May 26, broadcasted live on Twitch, the Injustice Pro Series will have 16 finalists from around the world. The finals take place on September 17 in Los Angeles.
Injustice GameStop Hometown Heroes
This tournament is a new way to compete if you aren't in the pro series.Open online qualifier tournaments begin June 4. Eight Regional Finals tournaments will take place at local GameStop locations on August 12, leading up to the Hometown Heroes Finals at the 2017 GameStop Consumer Expo in Las Vegas on August 27.
Injustice Path to Pro Tournament
European fans have another chance to compete in the Championship Series with the Path to Pro Tournament. This competition opens on May 20 for players in Benelux Union, France, Germany, Nordic territories, Italy, Spain and UK. This is open to those not already in the Pro Series. The finals will be held on August 19 with 12 finalists from participating territories.
Injustice 2 Liga Latina
Players from the South American countries of Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru have a chance to win in the Liga Latina. Operated by Gamelta esports Professional League, online and offline qualifier tournaments will be help for each region starting in May. The winning players from each country will face off in the finals on August 13.
