The folks behind the Batman: Arkham Games have been "hard at work" on their new game and it looks like we might be getting a taste of what is to come soon.
IGN France tweeted out a teaser allegedly from WB Games that served as a 'Save the Date' invitation, the date in question is March 8th, 2017. The interesting part of the invitation is that it's using a similar font, logo, and concept as previous Batman: Arkham games have.
Before we get into those details, let's look at what WB Montreal, the devs behind Arkham Origins, have been rumored to be up to. Back in 2015, we heard rumors of a Superman game from WB Montreal – something that fell in line with multiple positions at the studio that detailed they were looking for “a passionate dev team developing DC Comics-focused AAA games that evolve and celebrate the legendary brands of Warner Bros.”
After that rumor died out, another one took its place. This time, the rumor detailed that WB Montreal had been working on a Suicide Squad game, but it got canceled. The rumor went on to suggest that the Suicide Squad game had been canceled for a new Batman game centered around Damian Wayne – the son of Bruce Wayne.
On top of all that, Shadow of Mordor 2 is on the way – but the evidence suggests that WB is teasing a DC-based game.
As reported by US Gamer, Batman: Arkham Origins used the 'Save the Date' idea.
In addition to that, the WB Games logo is very similar to the Batman: Arkham City logo.
