We finally got a look at what Master Chief keeps hidden under his helmet

In Halo 5: Guardians 343 Industries made the game more than just about your experience as Master Chief, they added the experience of playing as Jameson Locke. Now, Master Chief has a long history of being able to achieve what some thought to be unbelievable, but there's one thing that Locke can do that Chief can't – take off his helmet.

After all the years, we haven't had a really good look at Master Chief's face. Sure, we could read the books and get a description of him… but sometimes you just need to see something to really come to terms with it.

Fortunately, the Adult Swim show Robot Chicken got a behind-the-scenes look at a cinematic 343 Industries didn't include in the game. The cinematic shows Locke and Chief trying to one-up the other during a 'Grunt-Off,' towards the end of the clip it finally happens… Chief takes off his helmet.

You know what this video made me think of? The man with the many buckets.
