We have some very exciting news to share with you – GameZone and the very talented Jessica Nigri are teaming up this year to bring you the very best coverage of PAX East 2015!
For those unfamiliar, Jessica Nigri is a world-renowned cosplayer who has also on occasion worked with publishers in promoting games through her cosplay talent. We've actually had the chance to talk to her at a few events over the past few years, including 2012's PAX East when she cosplayed as Juliet Starling to help promote Lollipop Chainsaw.
This year, Jessica will be joining us on the show floor of PAX East, interacting with fans in attendance and bringing you best possible coverage of your favorite games directly from the Boston Convention Center.
We're aiming to provide a different type of coverage this year. Let's be honest, the internet is filled with loud-mouthed journalists and bloggers offering their "expert" take on games. While we'll still be writing up previews and news, and offering our opinions on what we saw, we want to hear from you – the gamers, the ones this expo has been created for. And we want those of you at home to hear from them as well.
Rather than keeping our coverage exclusively about our own experiences with the games, we're going to speak with fans in attendance and ask them their opinions of the games at the show. We want those of you who aren't able to make it to freezing cold Boston this year to feel like you're here — except for the cold part. Really, though, we just want to have a fun time while bringing you coverage of the event.
For those of you who are in attendance, if you see us or Jessica on the show floor feel free to stop us and let us know what you've seen. We want you to share your experiences.
And for those who have never seen it, check out my totally awkward interview with Jessica Nigri from 2012 which I still get made fun of about to this day. And to the person who asked two years ago if I've ever talked to a girl before, I just want to let you know that I've since talked to numerous women, including adult entertainer Veronica Vain. So ha!
