In the same Q&A session that revealed two brand new screenshots for Grand Theft Auto 5, Rockstar hinted at a forthcoming announcement regarding the Red Dead series.
The publisher/developer didn't go so far as to flat out announce a sequel or prequel to Read Dead Redemption, but didn't exactly rule it out either. Instead, the played the safe card and gave a similar answer to the questions asked about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire.
"We don’t always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won’t get to them eventually," Rockstar responded.
"Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series."
Without flat out saying it, they are basically making it known that a Red Dead game will coming eventually, but who knows how long it could take. It could be years before we see another.
