Weekly Round-up (3/29-4/4/15): This week’s biggest gaming news all in one place

While April Fools' Day may have hijacked this week, there was actually a ton of real gaming news. Halo 5 received a released date, there was a Nintendo Direct broadcast, and that's just the beginning of it. Check out the top headlines for this week (3/29/15 – 4/4/15) in video games.

Halo 5 gets a release date! (and two new teaser trailers)

Perhaps the biggest news for Xbox One owners, Halo 5 received a release date. In somewhat of a surprise, it won't be releasing in November of this year. As for the story, well, two new teaser trailers set up an interesting debate as to whether or not Master Chief is some sort of traitor.

April's PS Plus games announced

PlayStation Plus subscribers learned what free games they'll be getting on PS4, PS3, and Vita this month. The new games will all be available on April 7.

Star Wars Battlefront is being revealed this month

Publisher Electronic Arts will finally unveil Star Wars Battlefront this month via a reveal trailer at Star Wars Celebration 2015. Additionally, gameplay will be shown behind closed doors at the big event which begins April 16.

Limited Edition Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 Bundle revealed

For $450, you get a unique steel grey PS4 (and DualShock 4 controller in matching color) along with a copy of the game. The PlayStation version of the game will also come with timed exclusive DLC. A bunch of Batman: Arkham games are also discounted this week on the PlayStation Store.

Nintendo Direct!

With news that The Legend of Zelda Wii U had been delayed indefinitely, Nintendo tried to redeem itself by providing us updates on a bunch of upcoming Wii U and 3DS games. Check out all the big announcements here.

Rockstar teases PC gamers with a glorious 60 frames per second GTA V trailer

The headline basically speaks for itself. The new trailer for the upcoming PC version of GTA V will leave you stunned.

Quantum Break delayed until 2016

So many Xbox One exclusives are releasing this holiday season that Microsoft has decided to push back Quantum Break. Delays are always annoying, but this move is probably for the best sales-wise.
