Weekly Round-up (5/10-5/16/15): This week’s biggest gaming news all in one place

This week was once again rife with announcements, which makes sense considering E3 is just around the corner. Everything from the new Assassin's Creed being shown off, a new game by Castlevania producer Koji Igarashi being Kickstarted, to Square Enix moving over for Nintendo's Press Conference, take a look at all of this weeks biggest headlines.

Watch 9 minutes of Assassin's Creed Syndicate gameplay

Assassin's Creed Syndicate was announced this week, and we even got a 9 minute long gameplay video of it. Complete with multiple styles of gameplay, to show off a lot of the new content coming to the game.

Square Enix reschedules its E3 2015 press conference

When Nintendo announced their E3 plans, specifically their digital press conference, many were unhappy at Square Enix, who have scheduled their press conference at the same time. Despite doing so before Nintendo, they always had that spot reserved. Thankfully, Square Enix gave way to Nintendo and rescheduled its Press conference.

Another shipment of amiibo, including Marth and Meta Knight, is coming soon

Amiibites, this news should get you very excited. Rare amiibo like Meta Knight, Marth and Ike will be getting a re-release very soon.

Silver Mario amiibo announced

First we got the Gold Mario amiibo, and now we have the Silver Mario amiibo. If you're into that, then get excited.

Watch Batman and Nightwing team up with Arkham Knight's Dual Play

Holy crap. I'm not a huge Batman fan, but this video got me really excited. Check out some of the sweet moves you'll get to pull off when taking on enemies with a CPU partner.

Gears of War remastered confirmed, Xbox One leakers punished by Microsoft

Well, while Microsoft could have handled this a little bit better, by banning the consoles that were apparently leaking the remastered Gears of War game, they basically confirmed that it's true.

Badass witcher? Check. Creepy environment? Check. A beautiful woman who turns into a nasty creature? Check. This game is going to be amazing.

Castlevania producer Koji 'IGA' Igarashi launches new game on Kickstarter

Like a gamer's wet dream, Koji Igarashi, of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night fame, took to Kickstarter to fund a Castlevania-like game, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. While all of the art on the page is currently concept art, we can't imagine this game going wrong. But then again… Mighty No. 9…

Nintendo announces E3 2015 plans with the cheesiest/best video ever

Nintendo, like last year, produced an extremely cheesy video that detailed what their plans will be for this year's E3. Nintendo will once again host a Digital event which will allow viewers to have full access to all of Nintendo's E3 coverage and announcements. The bigger reveal, however, was the announcement of the Nintendo World Championships making a comeback.
