Reviews

A Valley Without Wind review (PC)

This procedurally generated Metroidvania title takes some digging, but once you get through the initial hump, you'll discover a satisfying adventure that's easy to get lost in.

SSX Mt. Eddie DLC review (XBLA, PSN)

The downloadable content for EA's extreme sports series is affordable and entertaining, and it definitely warrants a buy if you're a fan of the latest SSX game.

Canabalt review (PS Minis)

The popular runner game lands on Sony platforms, and while it's missing the integral online leaderboards, it's still a lot of fun to play.

Deep Black: Episode 1 review (XBLA)

This third-person shooter is short but sweet, offering an action-packed experience that's far from perfect but still totally satisfying.

Crush3d review (3DS)

It has a few issues, but this 3D puzzler is certainly worth playing by gamers who want a good challenge.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition review (Xbox 360)

Mojang's successful sandbox game lands on the Xbox 360, and it delivers an addictive experience that must not be missed by console gamers.

TERA review in progress – Part 1 (PC)

GameZone is digging deep into the world of TERA, and while we're still not entirely done with the full review, we have played enough to give you some insight on the game.

Lone Survivor review (PC)

This indie survival horror manages to provide a tense experience that trumps most modern games in the genre.

Confrontation review (PC)

While it certainly has good intentions, this RTS title falls short on all of its potential and fails to deliver a memorable adventure.

Botanicula review (PC)

Wonderful aesthetics and calming gameplay make Botinicula a game that's different from a lot of what's out there, and a must-play for indie aficionados.

Risen 2: Dark Waters review (PC)

The gameplay may not be all that enthralling, but this action RPG has such a rich story that it's certainly worth playing.

Luxor Evolved HD review (iOS)

If you're looking for a superb old school experience on your mobile device, be sure to shell out a dollar for this one.

Hitman: Sniper Challenge review (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)

It may not be amazing, but this add-on content is free, and it's hard to complain when something's free!

Game of Thrones: 'The Old Gods and the New' recap and review (TV)

While it's not as great as the last episode, the latest in Game of Thrones is still definitely worth a watch.

Dark Shadows review (Movies)

While it has a few fun moments and some comedy, this isn't an insane vampire tale, so be sure to go into the movie theater prepared for something that's not too "out there."
