Weekly wrap-up 8/10/2012

Vidya games! You like 'em? Of course you do. Otherwise you wouldn't be on here. You'd be on, like, some stupid health food website while sporting your Birkenstocks. Thankfully, you're not one of those people. Nope, you're a junk food-eating (yet hopefully still totally health conscious) gamer. And because you play so many games, you've probably missed out on some of our content here on GameZone. If that's the case, you'll find our latest reviews, previews, editorials, and videos right here in this week's wrap-up.

Reviews

Thomas Was Alone review (PC)

Rewarding platforming, beautiful music, and a touching plot combine to make this indie game one of the most incredible and rewarding experiences all year.

Bubble Witch Saga review (iOS)

This Facebook original goes mobile and delivers a ridiculously addictive experience that should not be missed by iOS gamers.

Malicious review (PSN)

While this PlayStation Network title is certainly rife with some fun and enjoyable gameplay, it also brings with it a number of flaws that are impossible to ignore.

Flight! review (iOS)

This may not be the next big iOS game, but it's certainly entertaining for a few hours, and at 99 cents, the price point is pretty darn good.

Persona 4 Arena review (Xbox 360, PS3)

Whether you're a fighting game buff or a Persona fan, this 2D fighter is just begging for you to play it.

Foosball 2012 review (PS3, Vita)

Had a little more ambitious work been thrown into this video game rendition of Foosball, it could have been a great outing. Instead, it's just decent. At least the Move support is cool.

Death Rally review (PC)

It may not be all that deep, but Death Rally's return does provide some fun if you play it in short bursts.

Risen 2: Dark Waters review (Xbox 360, PS3)

If you have the patience to plow through a few imperfections, you may find some enjoyable and rewarding gameplay in the console version of Risen 2.

Google Nexus 7 review (Gadgets)

Google's latest Android tablet is a winner, and at half the price of an iPad, you're getting a great device at a budget price.

The Bourne Legacy review (Movies)

In an attempt to continue the Bourne series going, this spy thriller ultimately only manages to deliver an average experience for moviegoers.

Hybrid review (Xbox 360)

Hybrid shoots its way to Xbox Live Arcade and delivers a new approach to third-person shooters that's definitely worth checking out.

Sound Shapes review (PS3, Vita)

This music platformer delivers an incredibly engaging and cathartic experience that lets you play it any way you want.
