What a horrible night to have a curse, Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest is now on Nintendo’s eShop

Oh boy. You know those games you played as a kid that you were just a bit too young to fully get but played a ton of anyways? For me, Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest is falls into that exact category. There is a whole lot going on in this game and I remember it being hard and never knowing where to go. I’ve never gone back. With Nintendo announcing that it is now out for the eShop… I practically feel entitled to see if it holds up to the darkness the haunts my childhood memories.

That classic message “What a horrible night to have a curse” is just one of those early gaming memories I’ve kept to this day. It scrolled access that black box at such a slow speed as if to taunt you. If that wasn’t enough, it meant the entire game was about to become a living hell. Don’t worry, town is safe – nope, it’s a crap fest as well. Good luck surviving until morning.

Castlevania 2: Simon’s Quest being on Nintendo’s eShop means you can now get it on the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

“The morning sun has vanquished the horrible night."
