What if Pokémon was Canadian?

What if Pokémon was made in Canada? That's what artist Darren Calvert thought and took it upon himself to create some Pokémon inspired from iconic Canadian things.

Taking a famous franchise and adding it to other franchises or making personal additions to them is a real popular thing these days. Some guy recently imagined The Witcher as a crime noir and it's looking really good. Freelance artist Darren Calvert probably thought "what if Pokémon was Canadian?" and took it upon himself to create some true Canadian Pokémon.

Calvert didn't just create a few good looking Pokémon, he also came up with some funny names for them like Pux, Poutiny,  Hozer, and Dubbledubble.

Time to go catch 'em all, eh?
