What is the bridge between League of Legends and the National Football League?

The difference between eSports and traditional sports has been in question for some time now. What exactly is the difference between these two types of sporting genres? While the answer isn’t Chris Kluwe, he is definitely a proponent to it. Chris is a punter in the NFL, previously on the Minnesota Viking, who is wildly spoken in favor of video games; particularly saying that they are just as real of sports as the ole traditional ones.

As both a professional NFL player and a League of Legends marksman, people like Chris can spot the similarities from the limelight. As a punter, he knows the physical challenges involved in being a professional athlete. Though LoL isn’t a physical activity, it is full of mental challenges and requires quick reflexes. If a pro player of traditional sports recognizes the sporty potential of video games, it’s only a matter of time until the dominos fall. Check out the video below:
