Thursday has cometh, and that meaneth that new Nintendo titles are downloadableth. Okay, I give up. You know the deal, so let's take a look at this week's digital Nintendo wares.
On the Wii Virtual Console we've got Shock Troopers 2nd Squad. This retro top-down shoot 'em up will run you 900 Wii Points. Looks pretty cool, though I've never actually played it myself. Any recommendations?
WiiWare favorite Fluidity got a sequel this week with Fluidity: Spin Cycle which is priced at $10.99. There's also Johnny Impossible, a 2D platformer that costs $5.99. If you're in the mood to go old school, you can download Mega Man and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels for $4.99 each.
DSiWare kicks things off with Goooooal America for 500 DSi Points. It looks like a soccer game but its description clearly says "racing." Odd. Jump Trials Extreme allows you to run across 10-second stages with a stick figure for 200 DSi Points. Last is Wizard Defenders, a strategy puzzler that costs 200 DSi Points and looks kind of okay.
