Yo, Nintendo, whatchu got today, homie?! Sorry, every once in a while I start talking like the ghetto gang members who live by my house. It's not something I'm proud of, but heck, it's familiar. In any case, it's Thursday, and the Big N has some downloadable titles primed and ready for ya. Check 'em out right here.
The King of Fighters '96 delivers a retro blast on the Wii Virtual Console. For 900 Wii Points, you can snag this old school 2D fighter. Meanwhile on WiiWare we've got Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition for 700 Wii Points. It's like old school Frogger, only on steroids! Author's note: Don't be stupid; stay away from drugs!
The 3DS has a hefty offering this week. First up is Johnny Kung Fu for $5.99. This one looks pretty cool, as it's a 2D action game that emulates classic LCD games. There's also Kirby's Pinball Land, an awesome Game Boy original, for $3.99. Want a dating sim/blackjack hybrid? Sweet Memories – Blackjack is your dream come true, and it's only $3.99. If you want to check out a lost Game Boy RPG, The Sword of Hope 2 is available for $2.99. Last but certainly not least, Mighty Switch Force! is the Game of the Weekend, and it's sporting a sweet $2.99 price tag. Get it!
Ace Mathician! What the hell is that, you ask? It's a platformer where you draw lines and stuff on the screen to move around levels. This one's available on DSiWare for 200 DSi Points ($1.99 if you're playing it on the 3DS). Also, Candle Route for $1.99. It's a puzzler and, umm, yeah. It'll run you 200 DSi Points ($1.99).
