What’s downloadable this week, Nintendo? 7/26/2012

Happy Thursday, ya GameZone rapscallions! It's the time of the week when Nintendo releases a slew of downloadable titles. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're bad. Other times they're both good and bad. Check out all of the Big N's digital offerings right here.

The Wii Virtual Console is back! This time we've got World Heroes Perfect, a Neo Geo original, for 900 Wii Points. It may not exactly be perfect, but it's still pretty fun. There's also … Well, actually, that's it for the Wii. So let's move on!

The 3DS has some new and classic offerings. The first is Dot Runner: Complete Edition for $4.99. You eat dots, traverse mazes, and engage in some first-person RPG gameplay. This game is so bipolar! There's also Planet Crashers for $9.99. This dungeon crawl RPG looks pretty fun, and I'm curious to see how it plays considering it's from Renegade Kid. Also, the Game of the Weekend is Colors! 3D, featuring a discounted $3.99 price tag.

The first of two retro offerings is Mole Mania. Priced at $2.99, this Game Boy original features puzzle gameplay as you dig around different levels. As cool as that may be, the retro game I'm personally super stoked for is Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, which is priced at $3.99. I love Wario!

Last is Decathlon 2012 on DSiWare. Olympic events featuring touchscreen controls. You want 'em? There ya have 'em! This one's priced at 500 DSi Points (or $4.99 if you're buying it through your 3DS). Just in time for the Olympics! Speaking of the Olympics, I had no idea what types of shenanigans went on in the Olympic Village until just a few days ago. For shame!
