Holy sh*t, people, have we got a bunch of downloadable Nintendo titles on tap for today. I'm talking, like, literally (figuratively) a million. We've got everything from NES classics to completely original titles. So without further adieu, let's get cracking on those Nintendo downloadables, shall we?
On the Wii Virtual Console we've got 2020 Super Baseball for 900 Wii Points. It's baseball … from the future! Or from the past actually. I'm talking Neo Geo stuff. Of course, if you'd rather get in touch with your artistic side, you can always download Let's Create! Pottery for 500 Wii Points on WiiWare.
Wow. The Legend of Zelda for NES is totally on the 3DS eShop for $4.99. Seriously, buy it now. There's also NES Open Tournament Golf for $4.99, which is pretty sick. If you don't want to feel nostalgic (what's wrong with you?), there's Akari by Nikoli, which is a weird puzzler with numbers and grids and stuff. There's also Family Tennis 3D for $6.99. Kind of a weird title considering the game is for one player only. If you're a cheap bastard, you can always check out the demo for Heroes of Ruin for $0.00. If you're a slightly less cheap bastard, Sakura Samurai is the Game of the Weekend, priced at $4.99 for the next couple of days.
Edutainment! You want it? You got it on DSiWare! If you don't want it, avoid 3,2,1… WordsUp! altogether, because it's totally a word creation game that costs 200 DSi Points ($1.99 on the eShop). Then there's Topoloco, also 200 DSi Points ($1.99), which offers quizzes and mini-games on geography. Yuck!
