Three days after the Xbox One update was delayed, we've yet to hear when it'll finally be released. Originally expected to roll out earlier this week — February 11 to be exact — Microsoft promised it would be released "later this week." Well, today can be considered later and still nothing. What gives?
Unfortunately, we don't quite now as no one from Microsoft is sharing any news. On Reddit, Microsoft frontman Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb even admitted, "I don't have all the details – things are moving quickly and all the teams are working extra hard. I don't really like giving dates either. Too risky."
"As soon as I get more information from my engineering team, I'll share," Hryb added. "Until then…we wait."
The last we heard, Microsoft was putting the "finishing touches" on the update with a goal to roll it out "as soon as possible." At this rate, Microsoft might as well wait and roll it into the March pre-Titanfall update which will contain "many new features and improvements, most significantly to party and multiplayer systems."
