It says in Genesis that God created the world in six days, but in Metro: Last Light – the sequel to the critically acclaimed, cult-classic Metro 2033 – it only took mankind one day to transform the world into a wasteland.
That's pretty dark! Who would have thought the survival horror genre would be making such a grand return. Metro 2033 set the mood for what became a very dark and claustrophobic game that had you surviving underground. Last Light looks to take it further with more varied and scary environments and some new gameplay elements like hand cranking your lamp and wiping off your gas mas from various debris or blood.
Set beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the metro, players take control of Artyom as he holds on for survival, battling mutants and other remnants of mankind in the catacombs beneath the desolate surface and on the poisonous outside world. With station-cities of the metro locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6, players must prevent a civil war that could wipe humanity from the face of the earth forever in the sequel to the critically acclaimed, cult-classic Metro 2033.
