Who wouldn’t want a Super Mario 64 HD remake?

Regardless of what you think of Super Mario 64 nowadays, when it first came out in 1996 it was quite revolutionary. So much so, that after 19 years hard core fans are still looking for a Super Mario 64 HD remake. Some fans have taken it even further. I mean, why wait when you can create your own fan remake? That’s exactly what this team is doing.

They don’t know when they will be done, they’ve been working on it for a year, they don’t have a demo, and they are planning it for PC and Mac. They welcome you to help out if you have the necessary skills as well as invite you to watch the progress on their Twitch stream. They have 3000 likes on their Facebook page and they number is growing by the second.

Check out the video below and look at all the incredible progress the SM64 Fan Remake team has put together. Allow the nostalgia to comfortably burn into your retinas.
