Wii Fit U will be available for purchase in retail stories on Friday, Jan. 10, Nintendo announced today.
The fitness title is the current-gen sequel to Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus. It uses both the GamePad and the Wii Balance Board accessory. If you still have one, great — if not, you can buy a bundle with the game disc, Balance Board, and a Fit Meter (a small, glorified clip-on step counter) for $90.
Yikes. But that's cheaper than a year-long gym membership.
Another bundle packages together the disc and a Fit Meter for $50. Extra Fit Meters cost $20 apiece (you'll need one per Mii).
The digital version of Wii Fit U has been available on the Nintendo eShop since November last year.
