Wii U, 3DS eShop to undergo extended maintenance on March 13

On Thursday, March 13, the Nintendo eShop will undergo a four-hour extended maintenance period beginning at 1:00pm Pacific Time. Both the Wii U and 3DS eShop will be affected.

"During extended maintenance, parts of the affected services may be intermittently unavailable," Nintendo notes. 

In addition to the eShop service, Pokémon X's and Pokémon Y's online services — including Online Play and Rankings — will also undergo maintenance beginning today, March 10 at 5:00pm PT and running all the way through Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7:00am PT.
