A new Nintendo Direct focused on Wii U and 3DS games launching by the end of spring will be held tomorrow, February 13. The broadcast will begin at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET which is a bit odd considering most Nintendo Direct presentations are held in the morning. Perhaps Nintendo is looking to broaden its reach by waiting until people are actually awake.
Looking at the list of upcoming Wii U and 3DS games, we've got Yoshi's New Island, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Shovel Knight coming to 3DS in March. The remaining schedule for spring isn't quite as filled out yet, but we do know that Mario Kart 8 is releasing some time in May. Hopefully we get an actual release date for the highly anticipated kart racer tomorrow. And while it isn't guaranteed, these Nintendo Direct broadcasts usually contain some reveals, so hopefully we'll get some more games.
Fans can tune in to the broadcast at Nintendo's website or check back here for all the latest news and announcements.
