This year's E3 is happening in less that six months, it's in around 5 months and two weeks. It's time for developers and publishers to start buckling down to figure out what they are bringing to the event and whether figure out whether or not it will be playable.
It looks like Nintendo is in gear to deliver us the E3 we have been wanting, an E3 with Star Fox on the Wii U. It won't only be there in spirit though, it will physically be there.
According Shigeru Miyamoto (and we know we can trust him, I mean, he's been around for so long) Star Fox should be playable at E3. At least, that's what Miyamoto told Smosh. If it does make it to E3 and is playable by event goers, it will probably release in 2015 like Nintendo intended. A fun feature that the Wii U will be bringing to the beloved Star Fox franchise is the ability to use the GamePad's screen to see out Fox's ship's cockpit.
"One of the things that we're doing is, often times in games you have the cinema scenes where it's a movie that's playing and you have to just sit back and watch. There's no gameplay," said Miyamoto. "But because we have the GamePad with the second screen, what we can do is have these cinematic sequences in the game where you're still able to look around and play."
