Wii U system update 4.0.2 released

Wii U system update 4.0.2 has been released and is now available to download.

Nintendo notes, "Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience." Other than that, not much else has been detailed.

Meanwhile, Nintendo is also planning a 3DS firmware update for December, which will allow customers to tie their accounts with the Wii U. This will enable Nintendo customers to deposit and spend digital currency through either system. The update will also bring the long-awaited Miiverse feature to 3DS, allowing users to post comments and sketches via their 3DS, with the messages appearing on both handheld and home consoles.
