Remember when Nintendo revealed the Wii U at this year's E3? Well, if you don't, you'll have a second chance to do so. It turns out the Big N has decided to reveal the Wii U once more at E3 2012.
The deja vu event won't exactly be a debut. Instead, Nintendo will be showcasing the Wii U in its "final form," reports Andriasang. News of the big reveal came courtesy of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, who didn't go into too much detail.
It turns out Nintendo is trying to learn from its mistakes with the 3DS. Yes, as amazing as the lineup of games and as impressive as the launch for the 3DS were, Iwata admits that the company has made some blunders. "As we learned a bitter lesson with the launch of the Nintendo 3DS, we are trying to take very possible measure so that Wii U will have a successful launch," explained Iwata.
So it looks like Nintendo's upcoming console won't launch in the early half of 2012. Can we expect it to land shortly after E3? That would certainly make sense, and Nintendo should defintely try to release the darn thing before the next Xbox and PlayStation consoles launch.
