Wil Wheaton reveals the new TableTop RPG Show

On Geek & Sundry yesterday, Wil Wheaton revealed some details of the new TableTop RPG show coming to the channel in June, called Titansgrave: the Ashes of Valkana.

First up is the cast, which Wil said was difficult to cast. He said, "We need people who were very comfortable improvising, who had experience playing role-playing games, and who were available when we plan to shoot the show." The cast of the show are:

• Yuri Lowenthal – an actor known for his work in anime and video games, including Naruto, Ben 10, and Dragon Age.
• Laura Bailey –  a prolific voice actress who have worked on over 400 video games, cartoons and anime, including Wonder Woman in Lego Batman 2 & 3, Ioreth in Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, and Chun-Li in Street Fighter 4.
• Hank Green – one half of the vlogging duo The VlogBrothers. Also created the tech blog EcoGeek, and is co-creator of YouTube convention VidCon.
• Alison Haislip – actress, host and one-fourth of Team Unicorn. Best known for hosting G4's Attack of the Show.

The system being used to power the game is similar to the one used in the Dragon Age RPG. Wil asked the developer to make a generic, so he worked with the developer to make the Fantasy Adventure Game Engine.

The game setting and story is a mix of science fiction and fantasy. There will be goblinoid creatures with laser rifles. And the way he describes it sounds amazing.

Titansage: The Ashes of Valkana will premiere on June 2, 2015.
