WildStar’s next major update features 2 new chapters of content

The next WildStar content update will be the biggest one to come to the game yet. It features two new chapters of content: Myster of the Genesis Prime and Journey to OMNIcore-1. As to what they contain, the Mystery of the Genesis Prime introduces a level 50 area called The Defile. It has new quests and lore to unlock as players explore a new chapter of The Grimvault.

A new boss, The Dreadwatcher, awaits players, as does a new public event, The Dread Traverse, that ends with the most pivotal reveal in the history of the world stories.

Some places that you'll find in The Defile are:

• The Sonic Plaza – Where your faction has made camp to study the power of Exinite. Great area for solo players who love quests, path missions and lore.
• The Siege of the Lightspire – Team up with a big group of other players for a new 20-player public event called Siege of the Lightspire, where you fight a gigantic monster called Isigrol the Dreadwatcher.
• The Black Focus – New 5+ player world content called Black Focus where players take on Koral the Defiler, who wants to corrupt a Primal Focus to infect all of Nexus with the Strain.
• The Strain Maw – Find the Strian Maw and jump into its mouth. You'll get new areas to explore and tons of Path content, Datacubes, and more.
• The Tainted Gardens – An arachnophobe's worst nightmare. Ruled by Syra, Queen of the Direweb, this area is full of quests as you work for spiders to help rescue some allies.
