Will David Hayter voice Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5?

There's a lot of speculation as to whether or not David Hayter will return as the voice for Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5. Last month, Hayter spoke out that he wasn't asked to return for the next Metal Gear game, a decision that was not his choice. However, a cryptic teaser from Konami coupled with a fairly obvious tweet from Hayter seem to suggest the English-voice actor will return after all.

Last night, Konami teased its pre-E3 2013 show with a video that asked "Who will be the voice of snake?"

That's all fine and dandy, but then Hayter sent out the followin gtweet, which is cause for the new speculation.

This is either some awesome news — that Hayter will voice Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes — or a really cruel joke. Hopefully E3 will clear that up for us. Konami's pre-E3 2013 show will be hosted on Gamespot on June 6th at 10:00am Pacific.
