"Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination. Take a look through this story and you'll see into your imagination."
So, coming away from the intro that you had to read in Gene Wilder's famous singing voice… it looks like Willy Wonka will once again be making a return to the big screen.
It has been reported that Harry Potter producer David Heyman is working with Warner Bros. on the project, following their acquisition of the "Willy Wonka" intellectual property.
Heyman has worked on a few reboots in the past, with his most recent being the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie, a spinoff from the Harry Potter films.
However, in typical Wonka fashion, everything is not what it seems. This movie will not be an adaptation of the original movie.
The plans that are being discussed at the moment involve the film delving into the past of the iconic chocolatier for a completely original tale.
So, do you like the idea of a completely new Willy Wonka tale?
