While October's Microsoft Event wasn't solely focused on the Xbox One, it did bring some news of an upcoming update to the console. According to Microsoft, the Windows 10 'Creators Update' would be bringing new features to the Xbox One in 2017.
At the time it was detailed that the update would bring Bitstream audio pass-through support for Blu-Ray is heading to the Xbox One with Dolby Atmos, Arena on Xbox Live and built-in broadcasting via Beam. According to a new report, Microsoft is nearly complete with the update and have begun finalizing it. This means that the Spring 2017 release is on schedule!
Over the past few months, Microsoft has brought a number of features to the Xbox One's Preview Program, like Looking For Group, Clubs, and Arena. The Creator Update should see a majority of Preview Program features go live that have yet to get set live! It should be a great update!
