Dan Amrich, Activision’s own Major Nelson, revealed on his blog that after great success with the original Wipeout, a sequel is in the works, and is planning to be released this holiday.
The sequel features obstacles courses taken straight from the most recent summer and winter editions the ABC show. Also, the motion controlled editions will feature the ability to throw things at family members while they try to run the course. Amrich added that several tweaks are being made for the sequel to fix problems that loomed in the first game such as the Wii’s controls.
While no specific date was announced, Wipeout 2 will becoming this holiday season for Xbox 360 (Kinect), Playstation 3 (Move), Wii, DS, and 3DS.
