Witcher 3 devs hopeful for another Witcher game

So there's a chance...

With the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's final expansion releasing later this month, CD Projekt Red has finally begun sharing more information on the game, as well as their hopes for the future. The developers have revealed that the 'Blood and Wine' expansion will be the last expansion for the game, before the game devs move on to their next project – Cyberpunk 2077.

Just because the developers are moving on, that doesn't mean that they are abandoning the franchise completely. There are still hopes for a fourth installment in the series:

"Personally, I hope that someday in the future we will do something more because I love the setting and I work on The Witcher games around 12 years right now," game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz told Eurogamer. "But I don't know what we will decide. The strategy plan they've got they will share with us soon. We'll see."

Of course, the fourth installment would only happen in the far future, considering Cyberpunk 2077 still has a fair amount of developing to go through.
