Witcher devs join 11 Bit Studios team

Two developers from The Witcher games team have packed up and joined 11 Bit Studios, a primarily mobile and PC developer.

Lead gameplay designer Maciej Szcześnik (pictured left) and gameplay producer Marek Ziemak (right) will be working with 11 Bit on new projects. Ziemak's role is currently under wraps (to be revealed soon, alongside some project announcements), and Szcześnik will be the lead designer on a game currently in development at the Polish studio.

"I'll be responsible for the entire design of a game that took shape in my imagination," said Szcześnik. "It's a really exciting feeling to create a new world from scratch, make its characters and rules, and to know that I have this blank page to fill with my ideas and then bring them to life."

11 Bit has created mobile and PC titles such as the Anomaly strategy series and airport-smuggling game Funky Smugglers.
