Wolfenstein: The Old Blood pre-load info and PC requirements detailed

With the arrival of Wolfenstein: The Old Blood on Xbox One, PS4, and Steam (PC) in two weeks, Bethesda has shared more information regarding pre-ordering and pre-loading, as well as the game's PC requirements.

According to Bethesda, The Old Blood will check in at close to 40GB on all three platforms. Because of its size, they recommend you pre-order it (of course), so that you can pre-load it and be ready to go when the game goes live.

Here's the details:

PS4

Pre-loading: Begins May 3rd

Digital Availability begins on: May 5, 12:00am ET (North America); May 5, 12:00am local time (Europe)

Xbox One

Pre-loading: Begins April 23rd

Digital Availability begins on: May 5, 12:00am ET (North America); May 5, 12:00am local time (Europe)

PC

Pre-loading: Begins May 1st

Digital Availability begins on: May 5, 12:00am ET (worldwide)

Speakin of PC, Bethesda has made some tweaks to the system requirements and included both Minimum and Recommended specs, the latter of which is the benchmark of how to play the game as the development team intended it to be played.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a standalone game, meaning you don't need Wolfenstein: The New Order to play it. As mentioned above, it's releasing on May 5th, and will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC for $19.99.
