The Wolverine, sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has its villain. Variety reported that Will Yun Lee (Hawaii Five-0) will be starring opposite of Hugh Jackman. His character's name is Harada, which happens to be the real name of the villain Silver Samurai. Put two and two together; the villain is going to be Silver Samurai. The Silver Samurai possesses an electrified suit of samurai armor and is the illegitimate son of a crime lord that is going to play a major role in the story line. Yun Lee has recently done voice acting in the video game Sleeping Dogs, will appear in the upcoming Total Recall movie, and is the villain in the remake of Red Dawn.
The Hollywood Reporter has reported that actor Brian Tee (Grimm) has been cast in the role of Noburo Mori, a corrupt minister of justice who is going to marry the daughter of a Yakuza crime lord. The daughter happens to be Wolverine's love interest in the movie.
Other actors that have just been added are Japanese actors Hiroyuki Sanada, Hal Yamanouchi, Tao Okamoto and Rila Fukushima. James Mangold (Knight and Day, 3:10 to Yuma) is directing The Wolverine, which is set to begin filming next month in Australia.
