The Walker Stalker Convention is not about walking around and stalking people, although it might as well be. The convention was created by fans, without any support from AMC, to celebrate the Walking Dead series. During the event, fans get the opportunity to meet their favorite Walking Dead actors and have the chance to get a picture with them.
Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead) and Michael Rooker (Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead) attended the Walker Stalker Con in NY/NJ this past weekend, and during this event a fan channeled her inner walker and bit Reedus.
Rooker reportedly exclaimed, “What the f**k was that?!” Security removed the woman from the convention, reportedly telling her, “Um… ma'am, you just bit Norman Reedus.”
Taking to Instagram, the biter expressed a bit of remorse, but it's unclear whether the remorse was due to missing out on two more photograph opportunities with him or for biting him:
"Finally Meet the love of my life, and get banned from the rest of the CON and lose two more $100 photo ops with him because I lost my mind… got so excited standing beside him.. & just turned my head and bit him! I don't know what vame over me. It wasn't my intention to hurt him. I'm sorry Norman!"
Since the event, Reedus has update his FaceBook page saying "Um please don't," along with a picture saying 'Do not bite me.'
