Woody Harrelson says his Han Solo mentor character is “a bit of a criminal”

The upcoming Han Solo Star Wars spinoff continues to beef up its cast with the recent signing of Woody Harrelson, but the actor is giving us some more details about his character.

In an interview with Mashable, Harrelson tried to dodge questions about the film, but let a key detail about his character slip:

“I’m a mentor to Han,” he said. “I’m also a bit of a criminal.”

“I don’t think I should say more than that because the Force is not allowing me.”

Harrelson is an immensely talented actor and is a great addition for the film. In fact, he reportedly beat out Christian Bale for the role.

The Han Solo spinoff stars Harrelson, Alden Ehrenreich (as Han Solo), Donald Glover (as Lando Calrissian) and Emilia Clarke. The Han Solo spinoff is set to release May 25, 2018.
