Since the 70s, we've been getting great Star Wars movies (and a few not so great ones). Lots of people believe the original trilogy will never be topped, but Woody Harrelson thinks otherwise. The star of the upcoming Han Solo spin-off recently spoke with Collider and said he thinks the film will be the best Star Wars film ever.
"You know, any movie’s only as good as the director or in this case directors," Harrelson said. "And so I have a suspicion- because if you look at the whole, all the movies, the backlog of every one of these movies, there’s a lot of great stuff, but one might not be not as good with the writing in this or the acting in that or the directing in that… [the Han Solo film] has great actors, great directors, great script, and I really feel like we’re gonna make the best one."
It's not a big surprise that a star of a movie thinks his movie is going to be good. Maybe it's true or maybe he's totally off his rocker, it's hard to say as the movie just recently began filming. We'll more than likely here some plot details at Star Wars Celebration next month.
Speaking of Star Wars Celebration, there are rumors that suggest a trailer for Visceral's Star Wars game will debut at the event. EA will also discuss the campaign for the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Battlefront 2 later this year.
The untitled Han Solo spin-off is set to release in 2018.
